With a lot of us wanting a new keeper in the summer...

Would be nice to splash some money at this position with heaton coming back into the squad could we capitalise on this and sign him?

Been after a decent keeper since speroni.. i know he is ex clown but I do highly rate this young man!

I think its certain that who ever is not number 1 at Burnley will not want to be backup. the question is would we be willing to give them the starter spot?

Nick Pope has proved an inspired buy at £1.1 Mill from Charlton.

He possesses terrific shot-stopping ability and I understand in training he is very hard to beat in small-sided games and shooting after training.
He used to be a season-ticket holder at Ipswich.

Assuming Guiata is coming as number 1 then neither will come to us as backup. Last I heard Guiata was injured so there may be a need for good backup however I don't think that would persuade either to come .

I think it will be Guiata plus 2 new players next season WH and Julian will both have left the club

He has been spoken of in complimentary terms for a few seasons but whenever I have seen him play I have been somewhat less than impressed.

I heard a few years ago that he had been good at saving penalties but I haven't seen him face one.Dean Smith signed him for Brentford from Southend for just over £1 Mill + add-ons.
