One thing that's often not realised about such instruments as the European Convention on Human Rights and the Equalities Act 2010 is that: if A offends B through one of the protected characteristics (disability, say), and B is not offended, but C is, the Convention is still broken and an offence is still committed under the Act.

May I suggest Harking's book of short essays "Black Holes and baby universes" This is a compilation of immensely readable short chapters, covering basic principles of his theories, and existing concepts with also some insight into his personal life

Did you type that on one of Hawking's speech machines. He still hasn't tried to politicise it, he's mentioned several things about him amongst the NHS. Also note the "he added" part.

You used that to deflect away from whom you know I was referring to. "Which moron is that? Benedict Cumberbatch?" I haven't written that no one else mentioned the NHS, I wrote "only you and the moron you worship have seen fit to try and politicise his death". The NHS isn't political. It's used as such by the likes of you. Using emotive phrases like "Save the NHS", when it's not at risk of going anywhere. If you want to engage about the NHS make a thread about it, instead of taking over another.

The service itself is apolitical. Cumberbatch mentioned no politics in his comment....you however did with your NHS comments expanding into political points. This sullied a remembrance thread with petty political irritations and you have been digging the hole ever since. I say again....aren't there enough political threads to fight these battles on?
