What a wierd thread this is.
A serious point about antisocial behaviour by people wearing our colours, which draws support and derision in fairly equal numbers as far as I can see.
But this outweighed by confectionery puns.
Returning to the serious point, if getting drunk, damaging a sweet shop and frightening the person in charge is seen by some of our supporters as being acceptable behaviour, well this really depresses me. And, yes, it makes me feel ashamed.

About 0.008% of our fanbase engages in very minor anti-social behavior while drunk and it makes you feel ashamed, and you think what they do reflects on you?

80% of the people on here are sad Stripey Nigel's who whinge and whine about change, the youth of today and how smart they were for voting for something they knew next to nothing about, because they watch too much Heartbeat and Keeping Up Appearances

And their stupidity and pettiness does not reflect on me.

So what if a couple of our youth can't handle their drink.

Oh come on. It’s not like it matters if we develop a bad reputation. What harm could it do us if people equate supporting Palace with scummy frightening actions? No harm in always having to look over your shoulder because people hate you is there. Just like being back at Selhurst.

Personally I have enjoyed many lovely welcomes at away games and would not want to abuse that hospitality.
