Bit random but just had liver with a brekky.
Story being you either do or don't
Liver heart kidneys or none
Any takers agree or even some different ways of cooking.
Apart from frying or boiling.

there are enough parts of animal you can eat, without the need for eating their internal organs.

Anyone who eats tripe is either northern, or a dog.

Liver - yummy.
Kidneys - yummy

Of course, spoilt kids generally won't touch it. The little woofters don't know what they're missing.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Kidney in steak and kidney pie I kind of liked and disliked at the same time. The heat kick is unique.

What parts of the animal do you think that you are eating in your sausages?

I like chicken liver and goose liver, not so keen on the others.

Steak and Kidney pie is the king of pies.

Optimistic as ever

My Grandfather was a butcher. We used to have pigs brains sliced and fried for breakfast, very nice I might add.
He also used to cook ox tongues, peel the thick scaly skin off them and let them set in jelly (juices they had cooked in) ready for carving!
We also used to eat kidneys, liver sweatbreads and braised hearts.
Nothing wrong with a bit of quality offal especially if you know where it came from.

Have to agree, most of the meat I had as youngster was offal. Kidney, Liver Heart, tongue, pigs trotters, it was what my mum could afford.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Sausages taste good especially with egg and tomato sauce. Liver, Kidney, tripe and the like could be covered in the Virgin Mary's golden tears and still taste like the residue left behind in a tramps sleeping bag after months of him soiling himself in it.
