Can't stand Jordan but I heard a radio presenter this morning almost celebrating because his 100k watch was stolen. I don't agree that just because you are rich you are fair game. That radio presenter would be in meltdown if a pensioner had their saving stolen. I hope the police catch the scum and they get a long time. I believe that Jordan's dad who is ill was also in the car, my sympathies to him. Edited by Badger11 (22 Mar 2018 8.57am)

There is an apocryphal story of two Americans standing on the pavement watching someone drive past in a Ferrari and one says to the other that if they work hard and have a bit of luck perhaps one day they would also have a Ferrari to drive whereas two Brits watching the same Ferrari would simply shout "t0sser"

Nothing to do with envy. I personally wouldn't buy or own one because of the label it puts on you and the risk of loss or theft. And that's what is being discussed in public. Who'd have thought it. There's plenty of high quality watches worth 1/20 of that £100k watch.

I saw that too and I don't agree with it, you're in a police chase after committing a robbery you should be fair game. I'd have no problem with the police knocking them off their bikes with their car, their injuries are their own fault. And it should be 10 years for having an illegal gun, and life for using it. Owning a high end watch, or anything else for that matter, isn't vulgar if you have the means to pay for it. They're also not subject to CGT either, if you sell them for a profit along with cars, art, booze etc.
