Arguably the injuries to Dann and Puncheon were self-inflicted by poor tackles and I don't see how any training would have prevented Bakary's broken ankle, Wilf's knee injury or Schlupp's ankle injury. Maybe some muscle injuries might be avoided with different regimes but I don't see how Roy or his staff can be blamed for the others?

I think the PL is an intensely physical experience crammed into ninety minutes out of a week, I am sure the level is far more than say 10 years ago. And totally different from my era, Palace 5 ManU 0 that would be slow motion on a pitch of mud.
