Bamford was a 20 or 21 years old child when he was at Palace, I can't understand the harsh criticism people have for him (like someone said on the previous pages he was s**t in the PL). Bamford has since developed and is playing decently for a 24 year old nowadays.

Benteke is a grown man and has been a grown man for years. In my opinion, if he hadn't taken penalties at Villa, he wouldn't have gotten great goal figures in the PL and Liverpool made a bad investment just because they looked at the figures and there was this big comparisson with the other Belgian big black striker, Lukaku. I agree Benteke had great years at Genk in Belgium. But it's been 6-7 years since then and he hasn't replicated that form in the PL, not even at Villa or last season at Palace.

Time has proven that jusy because Lukaku and Benteke come from the same country and they look alike, they don't have the same quality.

Yes, I'd have Bamford over Benteke any day. Seriously, couldn't have been worse this year.
