wow...theres a question!!! i could write a book on that question. however, of all the prisoners i have worked with i would say less than 5% actually regret what they did & would not reoffend, the amount i would see back inside within a month of being released was awfully dissapointing, it annoys me that a lot of junkies ive worked with could be some of the best entrepreneur‘s around if they didnt have such demons inside them, and person who can produce £500 a week to sustain a habit out of nowt must have a brilliant if not f***ed up mind. the second half of your question, of course the prison service needs an overhaul...but its to late for that, the systems f***ed...that happened when they gave offered all the long serving, experienced staff early retirement so they could be replaced by kids earning half the money! theres no respect anymore...just like society as a whole...its f***ed. anyway...back to your hero tommy...it really doesnt matter what prison he is ghosted to, he really is at the same risk whatever prison he is in
