The media has minimally covered it for sure even when many thousands have marched. It's also been sure to highlight anything negative it can.

It's of little difference. The demographics are set. The troubles ahead are inevitable. The short termism, ideology and inaction of politicians and activists is to blame. As said, in a hundred years time there will be either statues to Robinson or minarets in every town.

Not that I have an issue with Islam still existing here but not in its unreformed and growing state.

This hideous crime only made it to the local rag.

Actually I am have some sympathy for the man. Not for what he said, or promotes, but the fact that he should be entitled to express those views.

We cannot argue that TR is a victim of the clamp down on freedom of speech if we applaud when others are also being prosecuted for expressing their own opinions, no matter how horrible they are.

For me this is the crux of the issue.

I understand and fully support free speech, and understand where you're coming from.
All I'll say is that some adult opinions and views should not be expressed to young vulnerable minds.

Yet it's perfectly ok to post right-wing motivated views and videos every day on a football discussion forum full of young vulnerable minds?

Are you saying that there are some really young people on here?

How old are we talking about?

Isn't there an age limit?

How can anyone express any opinion if what you say is true?

I didn't realise HOL was a church, a school or a mosque.
What was your point again?

When I was at school I was fed pro left anti Tory propaganda by the teachers. I am not sure much has changed but that's OK young vulnerable minds need to be educated, after me class:

"The EU is wonderful
Public Services need more money
Tories are bad and uncaring
Immigration brings marvellous benefits to this country
The BBC and the Guardian are the only media outlets worth paying attention to."

I am joking (kind of) but I have a CSE, GCE and A level in politics and I used to row with my teacher all the time who was blatantly left wing. She probably did more to push me to the right than Tommy Robinson would.

My local MP had to complain recently as a teacher pointed out his child and told the class his dad's a Tory as though it was a bad thing.

Personally I would have told the teacher if you have anything to say about me say it to my face not my kid. And as he is ex army I think I know who my money's on.

This guy supported murder. That's been against our free speech laws since their modern conception.

Robinson has never called for the murder of Muslims.

If he had I would bet your bank account he'd have been jailed for it.

Seconded.

The humanities in education are horribly biased to the left. If it's going to be infected with political propaganda, it should be balanced.

As is the media heavily left slanted. As is the arts and entertainment, as is modern culture within corporates.

The very idea that anyone can complain about anything from the right is incredible.

This to me is blatant abuse of their teacher pupil power.
Whether it be right or left wing politics that are being preached. What ever happened to teachers teaching their subjects.

Can you give us an example of these 'right wing' views?

You do realise that being 'Right wing' as opposed to Left wing is not a crime right?

You do understand that 'Right wing' does not mean you are a Nazi.

I know what you mean. I was educated between the 70's and 80's too.

I'm glad someone pointed this out , he not only supported murder but effectively incited it, surely not even the most ardent supporter of free speech can condone that?
