None of your links are remotely relevant to the debate.
The army are non political. You can’t even be a member of one of the main parties in this country and serve in the army.
Members of the. EDL and Britain first etc are not allowed to serve.
Tommy Robinson is a political figure. He himself would be unable to serve in the army due to his political views and criminal record.
The British army protect Britain and British values. One of those values being respect and tolerance of different religions and cultures.

Im as tolerant of the far left as I am the far right Hrolf. I’m not tolerant of religious extremists whatever religion they follow I don’t ltolerate people that break the law whatever colour they are. I think when they were drawing up fundamental British values they were probably leaving the criminal extremes out of those ideals/ religions that we the British tolerate.

I think when they were drawing up fundamental British values they were probably leaving the criminal extremes out of those ideals/ religions that we the British tolerate.

There are a couple of murderers and thousands of people who are on the side of the murderers. What is your problem with the soldiers having solidarity with TR who is against those people?

Trying to airbrush reality to sustain the illusion of the ideal is another.

More like overlooking extremes because they are an uncomfortable truth that doesn't fit with the programme.

When a particular section of any group act against a population, it is inevitable that resentment will be held against the group from which they come.

The 'Irish' were not responsible for terrorism, but at that time, all terrorists active in Britain were Irish.
Suspicion and association are inevitable. We now have the same situation with Muslims. It comes down to self-preservation.
