I think it was an odd decision by Roy to stick Ward back in yesterday.
Wan Bissaka is a talent (even Zaha says he struggles against him at the training ground)- so I think he would have been the better option against Brighton’s (strong) left side.
I can see Wan Bin getting poached actually.

It is well known Izquierdo has real pace so to bring in Ward who isn't the quickest does seem a tad strange from that aspect but maybe Hodgson felt that overall Ward is better defensively and of course is more experienced and this might have been his thinking.

Bissaka makes mistakes, but he would not have made the same mistake that cost us Brighton's second goal. Should be picked any day over Ward...

Whilst I take your point and sort of agree, We have no idea what he would or would not have done.

Expect Bissaka to be first choice next season.

Spot on. May well return next game. However stay up and he should have a real run at the beginning of next season.

Brilliant! Let's hope there is no limited transfer fee in the contract.

Excellent.

Anyone know which part of Croydon he’s from and which school he went to or which Sunday team he might’ve played for till whatever age?

It is great to have tied him down. He already looks good enough to make the position his own, so one can only imagine how good he might be with a whole season under his belt. I'm hoping we see more of Kirby next year too, as he looks like a bundle of energy.
