do like the new old kits pity you cant buy without the sponsor logo in the sash kit always liked that kit also brings back happy memory's,do like the way the home shirts blends into the shorts very clever me thinks, pity about the prices, a friends mum made the shirts back in the late 90s, which only cost a fiver to make and sold for 30,so they could drop the price and still make a profit

That rather depends on which "they" you're talking about. The kit suppliers get 85-90% of shirt sale revenue, and this is the industry standard. That doesn't leave clubs with a huge margin to play with:

A very interesting article and tweet that explains the behind the scenes reason we have got Puma as a supplier:

Just found that myself...interesting read. i particularly like the fact that with Pumas tie up with Sports direct (through providing Newcastles kit) we could also then see our kits being stocked there! Something that's long overdue

thats interesting didnt know they took so much, so the fans get shafted big time for a 5 pound shirt, and not by the club, prehaps we should ask for all the logos to be taken off as we dont get paid to advertise for them yes i know that wont happen greed is better, kit still looks good
