Unfortunately, that sounds almost as bad as a vote of confidence.

He's looked a frustrated character all season. Roy's dour tactics haven't helped.

Indeed, we do we not attack teams with width on both sides, seems we can only play on half of the pitch's width at any one time. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

They have appealed to the Court for Arbitration for Sport & they are expected to rule by mid-July.

If the right offer comes in Wilf will go.We all love him, but he has done his time with us,given everything in every game, and if he wants to try a big club, who could begrudge it? The problem for him and the club is there are so few realistic buyers. Chelsea cannot buy him-only the other top 5 clubs in England can afford him, and City and Liverpool don't need him. This leaves Arsenal, Spurs, Man Utd. Looking at the squads and finance of the elite European teams, the offer is going to have to come from Dortmund or PSG. I suspect he will end up at Spurs or PSG.

Why are you saying this?

You have no idea what will happen.

I know that Wilf has been apparently wanting to leave for the last 3 years.

Has he left?

Wilf is ours for the next 4 years unless the club decides otherwise.

The trouble is, contract or not, if a player really wants to go he will.

Whilst players can't make a club sell them they do have the right to down tools and not give 100%
Hopefully Wilf would not do this however it provides players some leverage.

When does the Chelsea transfer ban finish.I can only see him going there.

He wont have to move - Granted but another club will gladly buy him a house nearer them as part of his dea
He can still live in his house. - see above, he'd keep/rent out his current house
Kid/s to local schools. - they are tiddlers, current schooling wont matter
Knows the area.- won't need to know the area so much but how long does it take in reality?
His mates are still around - and still will be, plus, he'll make new ones, lots of em
He can get to their training ground easily - as he will be able to do anywhere else
He will get European football - maybe, maybe not
They will pay him good money - who won't?
He would fit in with his style of play - again, he will most places
He can showboat - lol, like moving anywhere else will stop that
The owner has loadsa wonga - that'll be the case for wherever he ends up
The Chelsea fans would love him ( they like flash ) - name a club where the fans wouldnt?

I dont want him to go but if he did,Chelsea seem like a good fit for him

- TBH i'm the same, don't want to see him go but i'm certain he aint going anywhere near Chelsea, they wont escape this ban so will be stumped. PSG, Arsenal etc are much more likely

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

Arsenal Can't give us Welbeck as part of the deal he is out of contract they have no hold over him to use him as a bargaining chip.

Chelsea will try to keep appealing as much as they can, even if they know it will not be successful so as while it is under appeal it is not in effect. therefore by appealing now they can do business in the current transfer window.

Just seen on Sky News - Wilfried Zaha has asked to leave Crystal Palace...

Wait for the offers now.

Said it for weeks now that only Chelski, Man C, Liverpool and Man U, of the English clubs can afford his fee and wages. Of the clubs abroad PSG and perhaps Juve would do so.

For me Chelski know we would jump at taking RLC and Bats, but clearly not until their ban is dropped. So I think that we will have an 'agreement' in place that when the ban is lifted he goes to them and we get RLC and Bats, but I'd also like us to be proactive and pck up either Reece James (RB) or Tomouri (CB) from them also as cover...two great prospects!
