You mean selling him for a pittance or kidding the badge or looking to take a quick throw-in after we'd put it out of play when a player was down or....?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

More or less everything you pointed out.
Obviously, he won't be sold for a pittance, as "D" is right next to "S" I'm guessing kissing the badge is what you mean

You have missed one thing tho... Arsenal fans singing wilfried Za, ha, ha, would be well annoying.

Arsenal are in a far worse place now then they were under Wenger. With little budget to buy, I expect Arsenal to fall further down the league table...

Mail journalist that broke the story about Zaha wanting out in an ‘exclusive’ interview is now claiming in a new article that Zaha is pleading with Palace to be allowed join the team he supports , Arsenal.
The sooner this window closes the better.
If we were to sell Zaha as well as AWB this window we would be selling our two best players in my opinion, as well as the only two youth products in our first team.
It would undermine everything the club is about as well as the aspirations that Parish has continually said we were working towards.
This is a critical summer with the uncertainty around Luka and Sakho as well.
I know it’s relatively early days in the window but so far we have released Speroni, Sako and Puncheon and sold AWB as outgoings and only extended Wickham’s contract in the way of new commitments.

We extended Daly too and have sold/ released/ loaned Lumeka to some Portuguese side.

Daily fail reporting Zaha is ‘pleading with the club to allowing him to leave for Arsenal this summer’. They are claiming he wants us to reduce our valuation to enable the deal to go through.
It would be a disaster if Wilf follows AWB out the door, I fear will loose our identity on the pitch.
Whilst no one player is bigger than the club loosing both would be so disappointing and leave us with a team that has no deep connection with the club or supporters.

Agree with all of this, some players are replaceable and some are not. Players like AWB and Wilf are in my opinion so hard to replace because they are Palace. Jules too became Palace with all the work he did off the pitch and the way in which he interacted with the fans.
Also it’s not that early in the window, it’s shutting on the 8th of August which gives us about 40 days to get any business done.

I just hate the inner workings of modern football.

If he wants to go then I want to hear ot from his lips then do you know what? Let him go.

Right now we clearly have his agent placing stories in the press and agitating from the sidelines.

Wilf is on mega money. He is loved by the club and the fans . He is the big fish in our small pond. Maybe the vast wages just isn't enough.

Your description of the paper involved with the "exclusive" with Wilf says it all..The Daily Fail.. do you really think that Wilf would be contacting CPFC and "begging" to be released whilst he's involved with playing for the Ivory Coast in the AFCON Cup of Nations.. think he might be otherwise occupied.. I feel this is more typical journo b*llsh*t..
