Simon Jordan has already put the boor in to the Arsenal board claiming that they have champagne tastes but only beer money and it seems that the Arsenal fans are complaining bitterly about their own club's embarrassing behaviour

I can understand Gooner’s complaining, they were sold a lie. They were told moving to the Emirates would enable them to compete at the top table. Their fans now pay for the most expensive seats in the world, then the club claims it has no money to buy players.
Our fans complain, but the expectations of Gooner’s are high due to past successes, now they are sucked dry by breeding owners.
If Zaha goes there, he won’t be winning anything, their days of success are over, I expect Everton and Wolves to finish above them.

This is completely right, Arsenal are not going to go from 40 to 80 so just release a statement saying its 80 or nothing and you have one week to decide.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Wish it was that simple. Contracts in football mean something one day and nothing the next. If you are a manager and a really bad one you get sacked but get your contract paid up. If you are a player and determined to leave then you will go eventually.

Here there is a lot of noise which I suspect will either see Wilf leave for around the £60m mark or sign another , better, meaningless contract and profess his undying love for the club.

Part of me says sell him now cut price just to p##s of Moan Utd with their sell on clause but bung a huge sell off clause into a new contract say 50% so cash in when his agent agitated for another move in a couple of years.

Later today they'll be upping their offer to £40,000,001.

I wouldn't put it past them!

Arsenal is just an investment to Stan Kroenke his main passion is American Football and with that $3 billion (and rising) new LA Rams stadium to pay for I suspect he is more interested in taking money out of Arsenal than putting it in. The Arsenal CEO is operating with one hand tied behind his back, even if he wanted to make a decent offer he probably couldn't. [Link]

One of the biggest mysteries in life is that loud stupid people normally don't have even the slightest inclination that they are stupid.

So where does this boyhood love of Arsenal come from? He lived in Thornton Heath since the age of 4 after coming from the Ivory Coast, went to school there and joined the Palace Academy at age 12 and been with Palace for 15 years. Wish his brother would stop banging on about it. Zaha has more chance of playing in Europe with Palace than Arsenal if he stays...one can dream :)

Better start looking for Wilfs replacement as I can see him going on strike when he gets back from AFCON.
