Wilf put the transfer request in, not Parish.

So what? he's done the right thing...would you be happy seeing Wilf go for £70m?? I know i wouldnt!

Its actually refreshing to see we're not having a trousers taken down on transfers for once!

Well at least we achieved one priority this window in keeping Wilf. Improved contract by all accounts. Too bad about the gaping deficiencies at RB, LB and striker. About what we've come to expect considering our recent transfer history.

Can't believe we've not signed a RB unless plan is to play Tomkins there.

So our business is done with no AWB replacement,no striker and an unhappy Zaha.

...so, a pretty solid transfer season for us then?

Fuming. I know everything sky says should be taken with a pinch of salt.. but all we've signed is players in positions where we have the most quality cover.
We sold arguably the second best RB in Europe and havent replaced him.
.

Yes it doesn't exactly inspire hope so far does it.

No. Parish is Palace royalty; never apologise, never explain

The Zaha leaving think was probably a bone to throw to fans as a distraction from what has been an appalling window.
The AWB money not reinvested in signings and not a sniff of optimism for this season other than the loan of Camarasa.

Exactly. The clock is ticking and this is looking like something of a disaster.

Let's look on the bright side. Other than Chelsea - who are not allowed to buy players but sold Hazard - we do have the best net transfer spend in the division
