I can understand Wilf's frustration at some of the treatment he gets but it ain't gonna change.I know different players have different mental make ups, but if only Wilf could shake off his victim mode and allow his skills to give him the confidence to play with a smile on his face, and to take the attention he gets from the opposition as a compliment.

It is NOT going to get easier for Zaha against Watford on Saturday and I am sure he is expecting some robust treatment. Some players get under his skin and I suspect there are players who believe that once Zaha gets frustrated and is constantly complaining about the treatment he is receiving such a mindset reduces his effectiveness. Sometimes Wilf does well when he's needled, but seldom when teams dish out serious rough stuff without referee intervention. I hope Watford get booked early and often if they do their normal stuff

Not much the ref can do if they take turns kicking him and just get yellow cards. We just need to give them a taste of their own medicine. I am praying McCarthy starts as he is our only player capable of being nasty and hurting one of theirs.

Capoue, who has clashed with Zaha before, has picked up a yellow against us early this season and in a match last season.Thus far he has picked up 6 yellows, last season he picked up 15 yellows and a red. I’d much rather see us pick up 4 or 5 yellows and hurt a few of their lot.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Safe with 25 goals in 28. But faith in post-Zaha?' by bexleydave Zaha, without having a great season, has contributed to 8 of those 25. Simple maths tells us that without him the club would have scored only 17. In the summer it will probably be time to part ways. He doesn't seem to have the same sacrifice for the club (though he is still essetial) and it may be time to accept a good offer. Do you have faith that the club can transfer a replacement who can do at least as much as Zaha? The club has not really nailed the transfers in the last years. Outside of this year, Zaha has contributed to 20 goals from the 51 scored by the clib the previous year. Even more.....there is talk that 1 or both of Andros Townsend and PVA will have offers that might be accepted in the summer. These are also players who have contributed to more than 13 goals in the last 2 years. If one of them leaves, coupled with Zaha leaving, the offensive force of the club will be the lowest in the Premier League. Sure, the money coming in (especially from a potential Zaha sale) will make it possible for Palace to brin 1-2 players in. Does Palace have the transfer specialists to replace them? Jordan Ayew has done a good season, mostly as center forward, but he has 7 goals and 1 assist in 2500 played minutes (only 800 of which on the side, 1700 as center forward). He needs more goalscorers and creators next to him. It's a terrifying thought to only be left with Jordan Ayew up front in the next season and some more of these central midfielders that Roy uses as attacking ones. Will Crystal Palace avoid relegation next season with the current managers doing the transfers? Or can we keep Zaha and all will be ok?
