Am as usual getting bored with speculation and getting frustrated firstly that Wilf himself does just say either way and secondly that again as other clubs go about 5heor business we do none.

I think Sky need to justify having a transfer window program and Make things up and stir the pot and clubs are financially induced to join in. It makes for an interest in story line in the entertainment package. After football is in the entertainment business.

how we handle the sale (or otherwise) of Wilf could easily define the club for the next 5-10 years.

whatever his price is, in one sense, not what matters. what matters is what we can do with the money (and other funds). what we do needs to convince the rest of the squad that we are stronger, not weaker.

that will always be a concern & I think there's very little belief we'll nail it. as a proposition for a player of Wilf's class, I'm not convinced we're at attractive proposition either.
