My prediction for Palace’ next two games. (For what it’s worth, I’m rarely right).

Watford 1 - Palace 1 (Benteke late goal)
Palace 2 - Leicester 1

If we can pull these results off I think we’ll be safe, and what a remarkable achievement based on our first 7-10 games.

Whilst I like the idea, the sooner we are safe the better thanks.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Nearly every team from ninth down - Everton - have lost around half their games this season. Your "prognosticating" is overly negative, which leads me to believe you have an agenda...

What darned agenda ? I'm genuinely baffled.

My message was that in the face of criticism of my negativity, the fact that we have lost nearly half our games of our games in the PL perhaps explains my position and that in the light of results perhaps I am deserving of a modicum of praise !

At the end of the day, I fail to see how one can be infused with positivity when we have been fighting a relegation battle all season and are still in a parlous position.

Regards the other teams - I'm NOT concerned about them and predicting their results has not been on the agenda on HOL.

A modicum of praise, Willo?!

You're amazing. You do realise we started the season with no wins in seven, yet the bookies have us almost home and hosed in terms of staying up. I'll believe the bookies, rather than your negativity.

I genuinely hope the bookies are right.
I have been a supporter since the 60s and I will be absolutely distraught if we are relegated.

At least we can agree on your final sentiments ;p

Hoping we can get the points at Watford on Saturday that should see us safe no matter what others around us do.

I would like Southampton to win tonight because I would like to see Brighton sweat a bit.Southampton only need to be within 3points on the last day of the season. A win for us on Saturday would be the icing on the cake.

We would be the club sweating as they would only be 3 pts behind us.Brighton would be 5 pts clear of them.

A Leicester win would be very nice - a draw wouldn't be the end of the world.
