I was most impressed at Wilf's motivational presentation on sky tv yesterday and how his confidence and maturity has grown.

Nope, can't see him ever being given or wanting the captaincy. We need a good captain to have a word with him to stop him from boiling over when yet another hard tackle threatens to cripple him. I hope Luka is around for many more years and is our captain.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

The major weakness in his game is his inability to stop behaving like a sulky, petulant teenager, sitting on the floor, waving his arms around, with a pained, hard-done-by look on his boat almost every time he doesn't get the free kick he thinks he's entitled to. He's better concentrating on what he does best, running at defences, crossing the ball or cutting in and upping his scoring rate (like Saturday).

Putting him as captain would be stupid. He needs to carry on playing his own game and improving. Captaincy would halt that and plus like someone previously mentioned he's not captain material.

Unfortinately it is highly Wilf will be here long enough to be captain. I would love to be wrong but I would be amazed and confused if a top 4 team don't come in for him during the summer. I mean with a seriious bid not levy taking the piss

Someone told me he is now a father whether his is or not he seems to have done a lot of growing up. OK on the pitch he has a tantrum but then so did Roy Keane and he was a good captain. However I agree with the poster who didn't want to burden him with this.
