Mate, no one in the media likes any of us smaller clubs!

Surely though his editor shouldn’t allow him to write something so clearly slanted to the team he supports?

Probably the only repoter they had who wanted to go to the game!

2nd half we stepped up & matched them.

a draw was a fair result in the end

THe t*** Running 30 yards to push Wilf isnt a dirty player??Really? Well I suppose as he wasnt booked by the cheating ref sort of proves he isnt? I stilll think they are filthy c***s!!

What annoyed me was that they were systematically trying to get Zaha sent off.

He was pulled back in the first half and he didn't exactly dive over, he lost he balance. As anyone might if they were being pulled back

So all the Watford players surround the referee and demand that he's sent off.

The ref felt obliged to please them.

Every single pundit has said it was a penalty.

As a measure of how deluded the media are, Kevin t***foace on Match of the Day just commented on an incident in which a free kick WAS given, for a fooul on Zaha outside the box, "He was definitely trying to fall inside the box."

You've just admitted it was a foul, you idiot!

It shows how desperate they are to be against Zaha, that even when he is in the right, they say he's in the right for all the wrong reasons.

Yes that made me laugh , what was Zaha supposed to do , dive to his left ? Watford really do have a problem with Wilf , their serial fouling of him at Wembley has installed a fear of him only hating him can calm .
We should pity the fools .

And we still need a striker

The Independent report said that Wilf dived. The Independent has so little money that the reporter may not even have been at the match. Wonder if it will report that Mariappa owned up to Wilf after the match that it should have been a pen.

Having just watched the match highlights on Palace site, the first incident where Wilf runs into the box with the Watford player then tumbles over, while there is contact it is nothing like a penalty and the commentator says 'that is never a penalty'.

However Wilf begged and pleaded for one.

So further decisions did not go his way.......

He is not a serial diver or cheat that is extreme, but doesn't help himself.

Anywhere else on the pitch being pulled back by the shirt is a free kick. In the laws of football I'm sure you'll find shirt pulling is an offence punished by a free kick. If you stay upright will you be given anything? No. It's referee's that actually insist that you have to hit the floor before they will take any notice at all.
On Sky Kammy did the decent thing and actually showed how the incident you are talking about was indeed actually a foul and a foul in the box is punished with???

I'll let you finish the sentence.

I'd agree with this..the reason they hate Wilf so much is because they are s*** scared of him and the only way they know how to deal with him is foul him and make accusations about diving.

Clearly he goes down relatively easily... however he only gets 60% of the fouls he should based on the treatment he gets from players on the opposition...can you really tell me they wouldn't love to have him in their side... Because of the had him they'd change their stance on wether he's a diver or not 180 degrees!

The highlights video doesn't show any shirt pull and the referee clearly hasn't seen one from his position.

Don't beg and whine at the referee it is working against him.

Left back position is on the linesman's side, so clearly bottled as usual. Referee was a total prick and missed practically everything, but sure you back the guy. You have no problem with half a dozen Watford players calling for a card every time they fouled him though I see.
