To be fair, what he was saying about wilf getting too involved in the game was true. He needs to realise that teams are going to wind him up and foul him, but need to shut up and get on with it. Every time thd cameras were on him he was arguing with one of their players, and if he hadn't gone down and claimed he was fouled in thd first penalty incident (which never was, you only have to look at the palace fans behind him to see that) he may have got the penalty that should have been awarded.

Is shirt pulling legal? If seen does the ref give a free kick? Anywhere else on the pitch is it given?
Kammy proved it was two pens on Sky.
As for the moaning, you have a point. There is not one single player in Europe who complains to a referee. Only Wilf.
If someone kicked you constantly what would you do or say? Nothing? Doubt it?

Remember it is the referees that actually insist that players go to ground. They will give nothing if a player stays on his feet, so they have no option.

His comments were well out of order. Going for a 50/50 ball isn't "nasty" and I've never heard that a keeper has more right to go for it with his hands than an outfield player does with his feet. One of them only has one option.

BBC radio, Sky commentators and Goals on Sunday all thought it was a penalty. Even Mariappa admitted he caught him.

The two clubs he played for the most both got relegated yesterday, maybe he was just a moody c***.

Tony Gale who was commentating on the Sky 30 min highlights backed Wilf all the way. Said the 1st one was a stumble not a dive. Keeper incident he said he had every right to go for the ball and also that it was a definite pen so no booking and most sensible journos shared this view

Quite a lot of deluded comments on hear lol!!!! Thought the pundits comments were completely fair. Wilf doesn’t help himself by pleading for everything and needs to learn.

Get some pride and back our man ffs. Being contrarian doesn't make you look smart

He just seems a bit thick really and well out of his depth trying to make up stuff to say on the telly.

The tw*t has just tried to dig himself out of his comments on MOTD2

Zat right? What did he say? I don't see how he could have dug himself out of that without using the verb "apologise".

T***.

‘Tried’...(but failed)... the presenter offered him the chance to address his comments from yesterday - he just floundered about only trying to give an opposing opinion of why the ref would think what he thought and that he was a really big fan of Zaha...

Must have been given some proper stick from many quarters, and rightly so!

Ah, thank you. A feeble defence and weasly redefinition of his words then rather than any kind of apology.

What a f***ing t***.

I saw a few things on twitter, some of which he actually replied to, so he probably was getting pulled up about it a lot, and rightly so.
