In my opinion, Ward has been a little bit off these last few years, however some of that is down to the pace of wingers getting faster bad the premier league gets faster, look at Sane, Sterling and wilf!
I think perhaps he should be intergrated into a def mid role like he was a few seasons ago, don’t need a lot of pace, none of our cm are fast anyway, and Cabaye and jimmy Mac are both at least 30, they haven’t got long left, still their quality players atm! Or perhaps CB as Kelly has done, but not sure if it would suit him!

Benteke has been rubbish all season, and tbh last season wasn’t great, yes he scored goals, but did very little of the team and was a bottle job to a lot of physical battles! He was never worth 32million, not even in his villa days, and certainly not in his Liverpool days where he was a joke, as he is now! Roy and other managers have given there trust in him, but so far he has not made a return on it and i would much rather see Sorloth play!

The fact that some people think that Sorloth is not premier league quality is rubbish! We have only really seen him play up front for 90mins, which the first 45 wasn’t great, but that was with Benteke, who was useless and they had no understanding! However second half, which was at Chelsea, was very good, he was playing against one of the best defences in the league and the former champions! And he should have scored, but ref made a wrong call! And he chased after the ball and made a nuisance of himself, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Benteke win the ball back a defender whilst chasing a lose ball but Sorloth did, with Zahas help!

Ward I would keep, he’s a good squad player with experience and he’s got that never die attitude which we seriously lack now, whereas 5 years ago that was our whole team!

Benteke sell, has never hit the hype, and his all round striker ability is not prem standard!

Sorloth is a good shout for the future, he is 22/23 as far as I am aware, and playing in an alien environment in England, I think he has got it in him, and so long as he works hard, we will love him!

If that’s the case we can get 20-25 for Benteke then we should sell him asap but there is the added issue of £130k per week that’ll make clubs think hard.

What are you on about mate? I never accused of saying it was a risk playing Ward and I never said I think Ward is better than AWB. I believe he is more experienced and that as the right call against Brighton, dispite his mistake, but said nothing about AWB or who is better. Weird reaction.

I also believe Benteke will only be sold for £20m minimum otherwise we should keep him and hope a d cent preseason can get him firing again. He has been dropped due to both his poor form and the good form of other players, namely Batshuayi and Lukaku.
