Players like Luke Shaw would cost a fortune and Emre Can or others are not obtainable by teams like Palace.

The ones who are obtainable and who stand out for me and aren't over 30 years old are:

MAXIME LESTIENNE (left footed winger, great for PSV, underused in crazy Russia, now with Malaga, they were relegated even before he came, put up some good displays in La Liga these last matches)

MIRALEM SULEJMANI (left footed winger, constantly the best left midfielder in the Swiss league in the last 3 years, has a few more good years in him at 29)

FACUNDO FERREYRA (striker, has done outstanding in a lower league like the Ukrainean one, it's a question of who will take him in a top league, he has PL experience with a few matches for Newcastle)

LEWIS HOLTBY (you have to look that he's been played in 3 different positions the last years: center midfielder, attacking midfielder and left midfielder an dnot judge him too harsh for Hamburg's bad displays. I'dtake him as a central attacking midfielder, a Cabaye replacement if you want)

KI SUNG YONG (a pretty good defensive midfielder with PL experience)

HATEM BEN ARFA (this is the only player over 30 I'd be interested in cause I think his real age is below his biological one. He has a bad rep of being bad in the locker room and all about himself but in truth he runs pretty much, presses and helps his team a lot while on the pitch)

ALAN PATRICK (not a standout at Shakhtar but he was decent and as long as he's free....might be worth a shot. I think some Brazilian football is really missed in the PL. He also had some matches as central midfielder, so might be deployed there too)

JUNIOR HOILETT (as well as his young teammate KENNETH ZOHORE from Cardiff look loke good enough PL players for me. Junior Hoilett is like a cheaper Matt Phillips and if they don't get promoted with Cardiff they should make the step to another team- though Cardiff is looking pretty god in 2nd place now)

BERNARD (this is the cherry on the top, probably the most interesting player on the list. There was talk that Arsenal will give him a contract in the summer, but with Wenger out the ones making decisions there might want something else. If no top 6 club takes him, Palace should really get Bernard. You won't screw up with him: movement, technique, speed, everything for a top footballer. If you're worried that he's too small and weak for the Premier League just look at the guys who have made this league a lot better these last years: Salah, Hazard, David Silva, Coutinho)

ZLATKO JUNUZOVIC (probably the best assister in German football outside of players from Bayern and Borussia. Not only from free kicks, but also from open play. He is an attacking midfielder but was also deployed as a central midfielder, well built, tackles a lot too, very good matches for the national team as well, a wonderful player overall)

MARK UTH from Hoffenheim is a player everyone will fight for in the summer, a lot of big clubs want him and for right reason.

OZYAKUP from Besikas is also an option wh will be sought out by many as a central midfielder.

BIFOUMA from Sivasspor is another good player who I think could do well in the PL as a striker or right winger. He's played in relatively obscure teams in France and Turkey, but has always done very well. But what makes me really like him are his dipllays for modest national team Congo (not DR Congo with the good players, the other one). He has managed to score against all good African national teams: Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana etc.

JAIRO SAMPERIO who was great for Mainz in Germany but has gone pretty silent for Las Palmas (though the team was already struggling when he came), he'd be another option I'd really look at, especially as he is free.

JONATHAN BAMBA, the young French player from Saint Ettiene is one who;s been talked about before in reference to Palace. There were reportedly talks to sign him on a free since the winter. We'll see if anything comes fro that. A really good player and one for the future. At just 21 has had an awesome Ligue 1 season.

EMIL SALOMONSSON is a right back whose contract expires in 2018 and we all know a better right back than Ward would be golden. Sure, there are also some options like former Man United RAFAEL but he still has 1 year to go with Lyon.

MARIUS WOLF from Eintracht Frankfurt (probably the revelation in Germany this year) is at 21 one of the main performes in the Bundesliga. I think they forgot to put him on the list, but if you want a more in depth one, check out the list I made a few weeks back about good players whose contracts expire in 2018 or 2019.
