Nope, just a nutter. In America he'd be a dead nutter, but the Canadian policeman somehow managed not to shoot him even when being coerced into doing so. Very sad though, 10 people killed and 15 more badly injured.

Those kind of trivial nuances don't impact on other people in any meaningful way, but there are numerous cases where they are excepted from the rules on those grounds while others are not. I deny nothing when it comes to the absurdities of religion but this particular case, to stick to topic, is not a case in point from all the available evidence so far. Unlike Merkel, who can't decide if it's a problem with the far right or Islam when those jewish people got attacked by Arabic speakers in Germany this week.

When there are nutters about, religious or otherwise, it is always going to be impossible to stop someone hell bent on destruction.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Unless this policeman could tell the suspect wasn't holding a gun I'm not sure it's a good idea.....Are we going to start hearing from some people that they shouldn't shoot unless shot at?
