Luka better than Jedi?

How did De Boer think he would be better at centre back and not good enough for midfield? Then also drop him when he wasn't good at CB. There are times when a Manager does something frustrating that you can't quite understand like playing Kelly at left back but then there's gross negligence and even a fan could tell Luka is a great midfielder. FDB should never work again just for that.

Without question for me. I think Luka has been one of our finest signings ever, but we're comparing different players in different times. Jedi was immense in the situation we were in and was able to step up from the championship to the Premier league, which many players can't.

I think he is more likely to go than Zaha. City will need a replacement for Fernandinho soon. If he starts well next year the rumours will commence

Both have their own qualities and when Jedi was on it you couldn’t ask for a better combative / enforcer midfielder and he served us well for many seasons. As for Milo he is growing into the position as Captain, but a very clever player who pops up everywhere on the pitch. He has been as instrumental in getting us out of the mess as Wilf, but this is only my view.... I suspect many fans subscribe to this view. Don't be shocked if he gets POTY.

Certainly technically a better player than Jedi. I think our best DM since Peter Nicholas. Of the two Nicholas had a better engine and more bite in the tackle, but then again Luka isn’t allowed to tackle as forcefully, is under a lot,lot more pressure when on the ball and still is a great passer, is great with a dead ball and a cool penalty taker.

Keep it quiet...... special player, good enough for any top six team in my view, better than Jedi IMO. He should be made captain permanently ahead of Sakho, he is a natural leader, makes few mistakes and is a very very good player.
