Why not? Is he known to be troublesome?

Like whats-his-face in ‘Gladiator’ we are going to “UNLEASH HELL!!”

2-0 or 3-0 Palace, with a counter-attacking masterclass (like Leicester away)

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Just taking a look on the Palace thread on the Stoke forum. Firstly they would be happy to see the back of Shaqiri as they say he’s lazy and inconsistent. Secondly the reputation Zaha has built up is tremendous, they can’t see themselves winning if Zaha plays.
Personally, based on this being a must win game for them, I think it’s going to be a tough game, however I can see that we could be deadly on the break against a slow and out of form team. Thoughts?
They also knocked our supporters stating that all the noise comes from about only 200, to which someone responded that’s 200 more than us.

Lol

Well they are going to get a real shock when our wonderful away support gets going - were they just referring to the Main Stand ? As far as Shaqiri is concerned, he has always looked a goal scoring threat for the opposition so wouldn't mind him at the Palace. Roy, Ray and Luka would sort out any attitude problems he might have. Given the importance of the game for Stoke, added to their apparent fear of what he can do to them, I would put him on the bench for this one to wind them up and play AW-B in his place. Arron is as fast as Wilf and he started his career as a winger/striker.

We should be going all out for two wins to finish our campaign, it could be the difference between buying one extra decent player with the position bonuses on offer.

Stoke will find this tough because they have previously set up for draws and tried to nick a win. Now they have to go for the win therefore they could be very exposed to the counter. I think worse case we get a draw.

I think there are two possible scenarios but it is impossible to predict which one will apply. In the first one, we could be a bit complacent and get run over by Stoke whose whole season depends on this match. In the second one, we are brimming with confidence and absolutely thrash them!

I agree - they need the win so it will be a more open game. I think we can win this 3-1.

2-0 Palace, we have too much pace for them. I'll miss their pies next season.

We may struggle in the air if they get dead ball situations. I think I would play Tekkers and perhaps unleash Wilf for the second half.

I think this will be a draw, probably 1-1.

I want us to finish the season with two more wins, but I think we may be frustrated by a score draw at Stoke.

He's too selfish, shoots on sight and drifts out of a lot of games when things dont go his way. We need players who are 'team' players
