6 million euros, that is. How much is that in pounds? 4,5?
All this cause Deportivo got relegated in Spain. They can't afford to keep players with big salaries.
Burnley offered 13 million for him in the winter and they didn;t sell. I don't think Burnley will be back in because with the resurgence of Ashley Barnes, they now have 3 center forwards: Chris Wood, Barnes and Sam Vokes and they won't want more.

Meanwhile, Palace needs at least 1 if not 2 strikers that are better than Benteke for next year.
Andone: 6 goals& 2 assists in 1600 minutes this last season in Primera Division (one in 200 minutes)
12 goals & 3 assists in 2900 minutes last year (similar ratio, shows he's constant)

21 goals and 7 assists in 3200 minutes 2 years ago in Segunda Division (roughly Championship level)

But the main reason why I think he should be bought is because of his energy, work rate and constant harrassing of defenders. You're gonna love this guy if he plays in your favourite team's shirt:

Jackson Martinez and Andone, what a striking force of 2 fast, feroceous beasts that would be! One is free and the other is available for 6 million!

If not them, then at least this guy: Yoshinori Muto, formerly wanted by Chelsea

Has developed amazingly in the Bundesliga and is one of the best strikers at just 25 yo. Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is in for him big time in the summer, but no way he'd cost more than 8 million:

He'd bring that Japanese extraordinary speed and be similar to Jackson Martinez or Andone.

Assuming you want to make fun that Andone, Martinez and Muto haven't really been players that you heard of very often and want to rubb it in....just know that each of them still scored MORE than Benteke in the last year ))))

Andone has been a good striker even though he played for Brighton or Galatasaray. In England he has 10 goals in 2000 minutes, so that's a good statistic for his playing time.

Jackson Martinez has been plagued by chronic injury, still scored 10 goals in the Pprtuguese league. How many have Benteke, Sorloth, Wickham and Jordan scored together in this time?

Yep, that's exactly what I wanted to do!

A sense of realism benefits everyone.
