Does anyone know the best place to park for the away game at stoke?

Wherever you park, make sure you don't have any Palace scarves or stickers on your car.
A couple of years ago I stayed & parked at Holiday Inn Express opposite the ground, when we beat them. I had a Palace sticker on the back window and some Stoke fan kicked a large dent in my door.
Lets hope we beat them & get them relegated on Saturday!

Yup, put the coach right in front of the goalmouth. Move it at half time up the other end.

When I have been I always park in the so called official car park area. It is right next to the ground in and around the industrial estates. They have have people directing you and you have to pay. You will also need to be there early to get a place. Have a look at their website for details. Good luck COYP

Another possible way, would be to park near the Station and get the soccer buses [ walk to high street to catch them... about 5 mins max ].

Then as you leave the away end, they'll be special buses waiting next to ground in your secure area to take to back to the station.

When buses are full, they get police escort and at all roundabouts and junctions all other traffic is held up to allow the buses through.

Gets back to station in a few minutes [ and pisses off drivers held up by police while you whizz through]

Oh yes I had forgotten that sorry. In that case 1 1/2 to 2 hours before kick off.

I always park in one of the parking areas on the industrial estate. Costs you about a fiver, but depends on which one/company you use. The official away parking is usually full pretty quick and closest to the ground. The parking changes each year and reduces as they keep building new industrial units reducing the space on the wasteland on the estate.
Never had any trouble myself but I don't wear any palace gear. Only pain is that it takes forever to get out of the car parks after the game up to an hour, as they funnel you to one road exit, so the other one is free for the buses.
You can try and park nearby at Heron Cross or one of the surrounding housing estates and walk over the A50, but they are getting stricter on parking there.
I would just use one of the parking areas and have some drinks, fodder and a football ready.
Last year we had a kickabout in the car park while we waited for the cars to clear.

Word of warning is that it takes hours to get out of the car parks on the industrial estate after the game....

When we last went we parked in Lilac grove, off Hollybush road. There is a footpath at the very end of Hollybush Road, you walk across a bit of grass/wasteland down towards the ground its a 5-10 minute walk. There is a goals type 5 a side place on the way that has a bar too and was friendly enough. No getting stuck in the official car park after the match.

It's an estate but seems alright though I wouldn't leave any palace stickers in the car. I think Hollybush Road is permit parking on match days but don't think Lilac Road is or was anyway.
