Just imagine a season of steady mid table mediocraty where we are neither pushing for Europe or flirting with relegation. What would the moaners have to talk about on here?

Most matches involve a t*** in a black shirt who blows a whistle and f***s a lot up.

- that we're not pushing for Europe and we should be
- the latest kit
- Hennessey
- Parish should have spent more
- the colour they've painted the lavatories in the stand
- the fact that they haven't painted the lavatories in the AW
- the burgers in all stands

... I could go on, but you get the picture

People tend to forget the next level could be up OR down

spot on about 'the next level' -having said that I do think we have arrived at another level. Might lose Loftus-Cheek and Cabaye in the summer - a quality partner for Luca with a bit of athleticism and pace is the priority for me, modern midfielders need to beak fast into attack, I love Jimmy Mac but he can get passed by in some games, same for Cabaye who is not going to be getting any better - I was up at Everton this year when our midfield got outclassed - we might get another year loan for Loftus Cheek, I doubt we'll be able to buy him, so one of these Dendonkers or whomever else they're thinking of is a big prriority for me.

Aint that the truth. I have lots of Charlton friends who kept saying that they needed to move on from Curbishley and boy did they!

At the time the media kept saying that Palace should look down the road and learn lessons from the Charlton board who were wise and didn't panic etc. I kept saying their success was down to the manager and we would see how wise the board were when they replaced him. Well we all know how that went.

I assume they will change the away kit colours next season :-)
