and he looked the picture of health with Wenger just a couple of days ago.

Nobody would wish this sort of s*** on anyone, a stroke can turn you from perfectly healthy to a vegetable in five seconds flat.

It doesn't change or alter the fact though that Manchester United are and always have been a ... ummm. Now remind me again what is the collective noun for t***badgers?

Never liked the man

However the stories of his generosity and kindness that have come out since he has been taken ill once again prove that you should be careful when judging people on their public persona.

He even donated money to Palace when we first went in admin.

Hopefully he gets better soon

Good news - out of intensive care apparently.

He could be a cantankerous git at times, but could also be charming, which is more than can be said for the current incumbent of the post of Manchester United manager.

Tough as old boots.

Apparently now at home, though still on an intravenous whisky drip.

If I was the Consultant who operated on his brain, I would have downloaded all his football knowledge onto USB memory sticks and be flogging them to fund my immediate retirement.

Maybe my memory is failing, but didn't Fergie remark something along the lines of Darren Ambrose's strike was one of the best goals Old Trafford had seen ?
He had a glass of wine post-match with Parish and Freedman to give some words of Wisdom, for which both were grateful.

The former United defender Gary Neville, in the Sky TV studio, said Ambrose's was the best goal he had seen by an opposition player at Old Trafford. Ferguson was less impressed with the winner, arguing that Glenn Murray's header should have been disallowed for offside.

Hope he makes a full recovery so I can go back to disliking him again.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
