Really wanted Villa because it's close and a decent away day. That's not gonna happen as Fulham are dominating this game.

Villa much better second half. 20mins left of normal time and Fulham have a player sent off.

I think Fulham will be just like Huddersfield with Wilf. Various Fulham players kicked the crap out of Grealish. Refs need to suss this out and start giving cards for accumulated fouls regardless of the offending player.

Are you suggesting that, for example, after 5 fouls the 6th foul should draw a card irrespective of the severity of the challenge ?

Nothing in the Laws of the game to cater for this scenario.

Maybe it’s time that there was.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Then it should be changed or book the 6th player who fouls for unsporting behaviour this could include:
'commits in a reckless manner a direct free kick offence'
'commits a foul or handles the ball to interfere with or stop a promising attack.'
'commits a foul which interferes with or stops a promising attack except where the referee awards a penalty kick for an offence which was an attempt to play the ball'

nothing about whether they have committed previous fouls and it is at the discretion of the ref as to whether he interprets the 6th foul as any of the above. [Link]

Isnt there a rule of persistant fouling, where the ref points to various places on the pitch.

I think that may be if the same player commits the fouls. Teams like Huddersfield, Watford and Fulham just get different players to do the fouls.
