A guy on LBC this morning hit the head on the head for me. He grew up in London when it was prominently white. Their were not the stabbings and shootings which we have today. As white flight has taken place the problems have grown to what we have now. It is a cultural problem from places like new York,Chicago, Johannesburg, Jamaica. It is an un pleasant fact that they are all black areas.
That is all an obsivation and not an answer but unfortunately we would not have that problem if we choose not to bring it over.

The stable door is flapping with the horse that has long bolted as far as this subject is concerned. Too little, too late by way of appropriate action required by past and present Governments. The matter is now out of hand although evidently more black on black given gang turf war with a heady mix of drug trafficking.

Police numbers are continually reduced that surely exacerbates the issue, especially at the ports / coast guard positions so as to at least attempt to reduce the flow of drugs being smuggled in.

My belief is that Conservatives want to bring public services to their knees so that they have foundation to bring in private sector with evidence of this already present within Police e.g. G4S in Lincolnshire etc

Yet the left love to highlight people's concerns or worry that their communities are changing.

Not all cultures are of equal worth in terms of wealth creation and institutional stability. You just have to see what they achieve. It's a percent game though as every culture has its underclass of dregs.

An individual is an individual and can take on or be raised in more productive cultures and we must remember that. It's one of the happier realities.

What you are saying is hard hitting and broaching that subject is like hitting a brick wall. Then again, that denial and refusal to recognise the problem is the reason we have gangs of kids running around murdering with knifes and selling hard core drugs.

i think from experience its all due to the lack of stop and search...you only stopped me cos I am (insert the stereotype here), no i stopped you cos I know you are a tool, the little git then goes home and winges but doesnt shank some other tool due to being in the wrong postcode.
It also is the cuts to the met, officers that used to target this idiots are now dealing with Mrs Miggins and her neighbour's kids who are annoying her.
but every other weekend there are more officers on the streets, yup the poor gits who have had their holidays cancelled, the same officers who we expect to deal with ISIS knobs in Borough..

Amnesty international are stating that the Met's gang violence matrix is not fit for purpose. Why? Because it is dominated by young black men and therefore racist.

I agree why are there no little white old ladies on it? One of the complaints is that some of the people on the matrix are low level criminals. Amnesty should watch "The Wire" the police identify the low level criminals and track them to identify the bigger more serious criminals. Small time villans can also become more serious unless someone intervenes.

This type of nonsense is why we have a problem. I hope the government tells Amnesty to but out.
