Only scouting system imo in order is Leicester. Everton have wasted loads of money. Fulham have just spent 100m. West Ham seem to be doing ok, but still spent over 100m. They also spent 10m on Hugil last season who was linked with us and has since be loaned back to the Championship. Newcastle�s french bubble seems to have burst. Huddersfield 50+ million looks like a waste. I think we spent a lot of money becuase Parish backed Pardew and Big Sam. Regrettably a mistake or a gamble to try and stay in the Prem. I�m not saying Parish is the best chairman in the world. But I do believe he is doing a good job and I prefer him being at the wheel instead of rolling the dice on a different owner.

Pape was already on our radar when Warnock was temporary manager, during the summer transfer window before Pardew took over, but Lille weren't prepared to let him go at that time. Personally I wouldn't give Pardew any credit for us signing Pape Souare,although enjoyed watching him play very much.
