Scott Dann was not a waste of money. He was very important and productive for a long while before injury, we were saying Everton can fvck off with their bids, but there’s a lot I agree with in there. It’s because our scouting is bollox or there isn’t any which is why we’ve signed players in the panini album.

To address that Parish uses Brighty’s advice and signed Freedman as a DOF, and he has, erm, zero experience as one. Look at our signings and whether they fit Roy’s plans.

Parish is not up to overseeing football matters. His stewardship ends up costing a fortune, whether straight away because there’s no scouting, or in January windows because we’re desperate, and for particular positions, and it’s obvious.

How many clubs are "established" in the Premiership, please tell me out of the 20, how many are guaranteed to stay up? Please list them...

Many thought Stoke as an established Premiership club. Would you say that West Ham are established, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Burnley, Watford, Southampton, Brighton, Leicester, then there's Cardiff, Fulham, Wolves, Huddersfield, are they on they way to being established?

Furthermore, what do you mean exactly when you say Parish is not proactive. What is it exactly.

Also you say Parish the "barrow boy" but the board has 2 extremely rich Americans on it who also own the club. They have plenty of experience in running sporting enterprises, do they not?

I get your upset, your not the first. I say again, What do you want? Do you want to get rid of the board so we can finish in the top ten, or go into the Europa League. Do you think that would make us an established club. I would argue that we would be no more established than we are now and that we are as established as any of the clubs I have listed, which is more tha half the Premiership.

Most of the clubs you list have stable squad management and/or are good candidates for promotion if they do get relegated. We aren’t. If we get relegated it’ll be a complete mystery how we deal with it squad wise, because I bet Parish doesn’t have a clue, and that cluelessness deepens the longer we’re here, although we could fill our squad up with Jach type signings that aren’t even good enough for the championship.

You make a strong and a bit of a rude response about the Americans being rich and experienced in ‘running sports enterprises.’ How have they shown this experience? Show me any instance where we’ve benefited from their input. Name one! For a start, relegation is new to them, and apparently they pushed Parish to sign Benteke and Sakho. And what’s happening with the new stand? Their investment is ringfenced for the new stand and yet nothing is happening, maybe no surprise when we start abysmally every season, and yet we hear rumours it’s years and years away. So many years that you or many others may not be spectators any longer.

Please tell me in what way we’re currently being run well or the Americans have been so good for us or we’re in good hands with them.

There are worse owners out there and there are better owners out there, and there are football people who know what they’re doing or are around to ask what the fvck are we doing when our signings don’t fit, we’re signing expensive players, we’re p1ss poor at scouting, we don’t do what we should in August and do it more expensively in January, and the whole time none of it has any joined up thinking. There’s a reason there’s a January panic every year. It’s because it’s managed so badly and Parish surrounds himself with yes men ex players and they won’t challenge Parish because they’re protecting their employment. The last time Freedman challenged Parish was as manager when Freedman’s stock was rising. He doesn’t now. There’s your clue. Pulis and Allardyce challenged Parish, Parish cannot handle that so we end up making error after error.

I suggest we get someone into the club who knows what they’re doing before we sell Zaha by the summer at the latest in whichever division we’re in or we’ll make an even bigger fvck up.

So very true.
Wonder if Sam could be persuaded ,if the price was right,to come back and start a long overdue revival in our fortunes??

I liked him when he was here, but how could you trust him not to cut and run when the going got tough or there was more money elsewhere.

German scientists have made an amazing discovery that Neanderthal genome is found in some 50 % of humans today.

Just wondering if our boardroom have a higher percentage than the population at large!!

Lot's of criticism coming Parish's way on here, which is understandable. I think at the moment a lot of us have Defeat Fatigue. I'm really struggling to enjoy going to Selhurst Park at the moment.

One of the observations made about him is his lack of football knowledge. Well he's not unique in that respect. How much do the owners of Utd, City, Chelsea actually know ? He actually probably knows a lot more. But there are two big differences...they have far more money and that means they can hire the best people to run their clubs.

Parish leans heavily on Bright and Freedman. They are probably cheap and I think there's some kind of desire to work with Parish's Palace heroes. Now Dougie is one of my favourite ever players, but in a results driven business , his recruitment efforts have been largely players that Roy has ignored altogether or have been square pegs in round holes.

I've lost sight with what the Americans bring to the party. Their original investment was ring fenced for stadium improvements. Given the time it has taken to even get to this stage, you have to wonder if relocation was a better option - although I am glad we are staying at Selhurst. So have they put any additional funds into the club that can be used for other things ??

Looking at the managers Parish has employed, I can forgive him Burley as the Board were new to the game. But he lost Freedman while we were top of the Championship and I still think we got promoted despite Holloway not because of him. Warnock was a reasonably safe pair of hands at that time but then we come to Pulis. It took a long time to get him to come and then of course he walks on the eve of the new season. Allardyce ' retires ' - and said on TV this week he left for '' personal reasons between him and Steve Parish ''. I think we are entitled to have our suspicions over those events. Pardew, somewhat bizarrely, was retained for too long. FDB ? - What was he thinking ?? And now we have a good manager that is doing his job with one hand tied behind his back figuratively speaking.

I don't see Parish getting out anytime soon, but a review of how effective our recruitment and scouting is needs to be conducted, because even if we had a huge influx of transfer funds, I wouldn't trust them to be spent wisely.

This club is not established in any way shape or form. Its hit and hope very year. Parish is not proactive. Keep dreaming about that stand as it will never get built under him. What we need is soemone who has real money and can really progress us forward. Someone who has done large scale enterprise business and not Parish the barrow boy who made a few quid up in the city back in the day.

If he is a barrow boy, what does that make you, a down and out?

The owners of Utd, City and Chelsea don't interfere in the running of the club and they also don't take every opportunity to appear in the media like our Mr P does. In fact many people would be hard put to name the owners of the two Manchester Clubs as well as other successful clubs like Arsenal as if there are statements to be made it's the manager that makes them and not the chairman

As I said, those clubs can afford to have the best people running their clubs - we can't. So Parish is more directly involved. Not disagreeing that he likes the media attention. How much he interferes on what happens on the pitch is my main concern. The two biggest personalities we have had as managers in recent years, Pulis and Allardyce clearly found him difficult to work with

And how many of our managers have stuck around? Roy? We need to stay up and we need to find a manager for the medium term. You cannot usually do that in November in and around the bottom 3.

We also probably need someone to play a formation that suits the players we have in a limited squad and this season that isn’t Roy. It was last season but I’m extremely concerned this season. We should be playing 4-2-3-1 but we play 4-4-2 without a clue attacking wise.

You can have rich and successful barrow boys. For example, Simon Jordan is quite eloquent but it’s often a lot of bollox and he wasn’t blessed with business acumen. He took a chance and rode the bullish mobile phone market at the right time. Fair play to him. He deserved it. In a normal market or blessed with choices and cash to play with in many business sectors he was lost and so was his money from his punts.

All the criticisms go along the lines of...

"He may have saved the club 9 years ago, but we've got nothing to show after 6 years in the premier"

Except for a club and 6 seasons in the premiership.
