I think we should also consider the quality of the opposition now, has it improved since Pulis time. I rather think so, this year the PL had no bad teams IMO, West Brom Stoke and the Swans all lot of quality investment stadiums etc. must be quite a blow after that. Of course you can only play what is in front of you.

Plenty of disjointed squads out there despite expensive purchases.

All three are about equal in their influence, Lilies gave us the strength and defensive mentality, Allardyce bought quality and Hodgeson has taught us how to play.All are integral to our premiership status.

Pulis, without question. Just take a look at that squad and then make your decision. When your starting XI for the first game back in the prem includes Dobbie and Wilbraham, that should be enough to realise what he had 5 months to work with, plus being so far behind. Roy has done a great job but he has had a far better squad to work with.

Roy served up quality football practically without a striker all season. That’s no mean feat.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |
