Dare I suggest, one of the reasons for departure?!

Shame that people who add so much quality to the online existence of Crystal Palace, and what made this site so great, balanced and nonpartisan in the first place, no longer add their text and now their voices on here. HOL will be poorer off without you.

I've listened to the Hol Podcast for years and it is very sad to learn of its demise.

However, some of the most entertaining contributors seemed to have dropped away.

Nick, Lucy, Jel to name but three, and the new voices seemed 'championship' in comparison. It really felt as if Hambo was carrying the show while the ship was taking on water.

It must have been a huge commitment for Hambo, Mikey, Terence and others to keep producing shows and I wholeheartedly thank them for keeping me amused and entertained for the past 5-6 years.

The FYP pods, with Jim Daly and Kevin Day are 1st class and will enjoy their comments and reflections on season 18/19 from August onwards.

Don't know the full story but if it's HOL related and the group still enjoy making podcasts, maybe they'll just rename.

That's the beauty of the Internet. There is absolutely nothing to stop anyone on here starting their own radio station or doing a podcast.
