What utter nonsense. Inflammatory? How so? Israel just existing is inflammatory to Hamas. They organise these days of rages all the time. 'Shameful' because Israel are trying to protect their border from terrorists trying to get through the fence and kill their own citizens? Tell me what Hamas' intentions would be should they breach the border?

Are you that ignorant? It's not just "approaching a fence". The people of Gaza were told to not go within 300 metres of the border or face the consequences. Everyone knows that Israel don't take s***, so why go to the border?

Had people breached the border into Israel, then hundreds would have been killed! Is that what you prefer?

Hamas paid civilians to be there. Over 50 of the 60 killed were Hamas terrorists and warrant being murdered. Should the IDF come out and give them hugs? Why are you defending terrorists??

Huge pomp and ceremony over new US embassy in Jerusalem has been deliberately inflammatory. They could have just done it with minimum fuss.

There is no evidence that any of the people murdered were terrorists.

Shooting people for going near a fence even if you say you will do it isn't justifiable. Would it be reasonable for me to say if you walk down my road I will shoot you? Should I be immune from prosecution were I to do so?

Plenty of things Hamas does are also indefensible, but that doesn't give Israel a free pass to act like barbarians.

Remind me how many Israelis were killed?

Not True:

Salah al-Bardawil, one of the Islamist group’s leaders, told Palestinian Radio on Wednesday: “In the last round of confrontations 62 people were martyred, 50 of them were Hamas.”

I agree that Israel have the means to show more restraint, but then I don't have to live in fear of being attacked every day

the dignified don't even enter in the game

The opening of the embassy is a BIG deal for Israel. If you can't see how that doesn't deserve huge fuss, then... So what's the excuse for all the other times Hamas causes violence and attempts to kill Israeli citizens then?

'Hamas Leader Says 50 Members Killed in Gaza Protests'
[Link] This story has been reported a lot but not in the left wing outlets you read.

Walking down the road is not comparable to trying to breach a national border which you consider a hated enemy and are also warned of the dangers. It's not like they were crossing the French-Belgian border. Are you actually using that as a sensible comparison??

Protecting your citizens is not acting like barbarians. Hamas wanted to breach the border fence and kill Israelis. If a terrorist intends to kill, then they deserved to be killed. But you'd let them over the fence and give them a hug, wouldn't you.

Where is the evidence that they were going to commit any sort of terrorist act?

The killings were one sided and the actions of Israel totally disproportionate, for which they should be condemned at the very least.

Understanding the toll on the Israelis side will help understand how reasonable their actions were and whether their actions constituted defence or aggression.

The Trump media describe this as 'involved in clashes'.

Time to re-think our alliances, adopt a neutral position not automatically involved in a coalition, seemingly without thinking.

Not Trump but the rest of the World, I find Russia and China and the EU more reasoned stable places.

Trump would not keep to a deal struck as Iran shows, so why bother, we are still close to the American people and he will be gone one day sooner the better.

Well what a shock.

I think you will find that America has still got our six. A bit dumb to bite the hand that has it's finger on the trigger of a big pile of nukes pointed at your enemies.
We have more influence over them as friends than enemies, which is still not much.

So I take it you would have been happier had it been an even death count?

Do you understand the death toll of ordinary Israelis under attack by Palastinians. There were three killed in March.

Israel's actions stopped more Hamas deaths and ensured it was zero Israeli deaths. That is a good thing.
