There’s a good chance that if Chelsea want to loan Cheek out it’ll be to us. We’re not a top 6 rival, we’re playing decent football and he’s comfortable here. Where else is there? Southampton or West Ham or Everton? Agree with you Rudi but I honestly think it won't be decided until the last minute. Can we take the risk of waiting that long and taking the chance we don't get him?

I'm guessing that the only accurate part of that article is that we are entering into contract talk with him L’Equipe are running with a similar story, for what it’s worth.

However, I'd imagine Chelsea are going to have quite the shake up and unless he has a poor pre-season he will be in their squad. Can't imagine he will be available either loan or sale until end of window if at all

Chelsea are saying there will be wholesale changes there. That may mean they take a chance on L-C. But a chance it would be. Why would he want to go to another club on loan, knowing he has a place in the Palace side? We must suppose its up the Chelsea, but for a club so reliant on a constant source of big money Chelsea must be in a state of confusion at the moment due to the Home Office. We can only hope.

CPFC Official put out a tweet today celebrating Yo's number of interceptions 79, which is second in the prem. I think he'll be difficult to replace , probably too big a risk to lose. Another 2 years I would say. Parrot
