if people keep employing Pardew then anything is possible. Abu hamza could be Pope.

Just another example of ridiculous money ruining the premiership where clubs panic and only think short term

Having a high percentage of clubs removing their manager is nothing new, but the amount that lasted less than 6 months seems crazy...

De Boer
Carvahal
Allardyce
Watford guy
Probably the next Watford guy
All Swansea managers
Pardew
Lambert

I realise that many only had a 6 month contract, but I don't think that changes the issue.

I cannot help but think England will never have a strong side while there is this constant demand for immediate success. Throwing money at a player who's played 100+ games overseas will always seem a safer bet than nurturing your own unproven talent. No manager is going to prioritise a player who blossoms after they've been sacked.

The two most successful English players of recent years are probably Kane and Alli, both of whom came through a very stable Spurs side. Alli was a low-risk £5m investment, who was blooded very well, and in reality is an anomaly. Even Harry Kane had to prove himself undroppable for some time in the Europa League before he was given a starting spot in the league. Had Soldado been more effective Kane would never have had his chance.

Not crazy when you consider the transfer windows and money issues if relegated.
