I don't know how accustomed Moses is to scoring goals and creating chances close to the opposition's box anymore. He used to be pretty decent for his age in the 2013/14 or the 2014/15 seasons, but since then he has gotten used to a more defensive role at Chelsea, doing mostly defensive duties.
Wanting from him to the same things up front as he did years ago is unrealistic. He didn't have continuity in that position and will probably just have Schlupp's level of quality, fighting all the time, running, but with little accomplishments.

He did continue to play as right forward for the national team, but on very few occasions.

Agreed. I don't think this is a priority although for sentimental reasons I would love him back.

Would absolutely love this, not for sentimental reasons either.

For my money, our biggest issue is a lack of creative outlets other than Zaha. When he gets marked out of the game we're cooked. Andros, as industrious as he is, doesn't capitalise on the attention Zaha gets in the same way Bolasie used to. I honestly think Zaha and Moses on opposing wings could be lethal and, when throwing Wan-Bissaka into the mix, it would be incredible to see three academy products running riot.

Probably the only player in world football I’d take back purely for sentimental reasons.

I think we could do better. But I do think he strikes me as a Roy type player, who could play in that midfield 4 comfortably.

But other than that, no reason I’d want him other than sentiment.

Would be a big improvement on the disappointing Townsend.

I disagree. Not that much an improvement, as they are very similar. And you really shouldn't give up the only left foot midfielder unless you have another left foot midfileder replacing him. Trust me, there will be instances during matches when you need the left foot player to deliver a corner or take a free kick.

Man C certainly have a few left-footers EG : Sane,Mahrez,David Silva,Bernardo Silva,Delph,Foden.

With renewed talk of a bid in January for Wilf by Chelsea I'm wondering if this recent Moses talk is part of a proposed cash + player deal. Obviously Wilf & Victor on opposite wings would be immnense.
