Thank you Willo for that bit of trivia

What's the point of storing trivia if you can't bore someone else with it?

Although there are 120 thousand non-British citizens working in the NHS...

The people 'contributing next to nothing' are the elderly, whose number is also going up year on year and who are in most need of medical support and social care. How are we supposed to solve that crisis without turning to migration?

Us old people do spend money - which helps HMG collect taxes - including buying Palace Season tickets.

Mid Seventies when I was a boy, I had Kate Jackson on my wall. Buck Rodgers started a little later. I was probably more interested in three dimensional women by then.

If there are any doubts as to the cause of the nhs crisis, look at the spending after the coalition came into power (it has since decreased even further since the lib dems left the picture!)

Do you understand that Labour NHS spending is usually on layers of management?
The NHS cannot become a black hole of spending with no limit on its remit.

Actually during that period it was mostly salaries and not just in the NHS but across Public Services, increasing the gold plated pension burden foisted upon the populace by doctors, teachers, and especially Firemen and police during the period.

Yes, I do know about changes for new employees.

The biggest black hole public sector pensions, and the associated parasites.
