Before the news about Villa's financial problems came to light, I didn't think we'd be able to go for Grealish as they'd no doubt be looking for £30m+.

Now though, I think we need to act f***ing quickly and offer them £15m cash up front, no installments. Get in before anyone else does.

We'd be getting a 22 year old who's probably the best player in the Championship, has an incredibly high potential and is ready to come back to the Prem. He's quick, skillful, and is the No. 10 we've been crying out for since Puncheon forgot how to play football.

Sign him up Parish.

Not a lot happened on this front over the past 6 weeks other than the fact that we are definitely one central miidfielder short with Cabaye going and West Ham may be spent out.

Spurs are likely to put in a low bid soon. Might be a good idea to at least challenge them

Grealish comes with a lot of baggage at £30m he is too big a risk. RLC is a better all round bet.

Grealish is more likely to be available. Villa may have hoped for 30 million 6 weeks ago but be prepared to accept less now. Of course Kirby may be a find but it could be a year or two too soon for him

Like RLC, Grealish will know that England desperately need creative midfielders and playing in Championship wont help any aspirations in that direction

I think we will need to wait for a few weeks yet before the price for Grealish drops to anything like what he is actually worth.

Doesn't Parrish do that anyway?

Must be true it's in the Mirror..!!

Would like to see it but no chance, if the reports about our lack of transfer funds are true..!!

Think there maybe some mileage in the Yaya Toure speculation though - maybe 35 but still a class act - I can remember him breaking our hearts with outstanding strikes at Selhurst at least twice.
