Christ, there’s bigger things to worry about in the world. Front page on the Sun. Why do people get so offended these days? Sterling can have whatever tattoos he wants, who really cares. The media in the UK love to try and unsettle the national team before every tournament, it’s like they want us to fail. Just adds more pressure, I don’t get it.

I don't know why anyone thinks it's to do with race, I'd say it's more par for the course of sticking the knife in on an England player, of any sport. It's not this particular incident but the continued harassment of Sterling over a long period of time (something which not many other players suffer from) that implies it may be race driven.

There certainly seems to be an agenda here. Time for his club to step up and ban The Sun from their ground and refuse any access to anything relating to the Club. I also think perhaps the FA should consider the same action. If this is not a race issue I'd like to know what he has done to upset them. Perhaps leaving media darlings Liverpool? who knows.

I know there's been many trivial stories about him but I still don't see that it's anything to do with his race. I thought it was the Daily Mail who ran the ones about him going for breakfast or about going shopping? They all have long stopped being a source of news anyway. In the age of the internet they're mainly filled with inane bulls*** that they make up to suit the pictures they want to run.

I'm not a fan of Sterling, but the way he's been treated is nothing short of scandalous. The sooner Piers Morgan, Talks***e and The Scum stop existing, the world will be a far, far better place.
