Take out Ronaldo and Portugal are nothing. Spain were good but look weak defensively

France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina all looked leggy and mediocre

Really starting to enjoy the World Cup, wasn't looking forward to it at all.

Question
How come so many Mexicans,Peruvians,(been really impressed with their support ) have afforded to go..not exactly what you would call wealthy countries, long way to go,travel, hotels, food and drink costs..oh,mustn't forget hooker costs and from what I hear Russia is a very expensive country.
Just curious ?

Been lucky enough not to miss any games yet, at least part of the match. I thought Spain looked fantastic, their passing looked so much better than any other team. However they only managed a draw against a pretty ordinary Portugal team.

People who have gone out there have said that the hosts have been excellent so far, no trouble. Winning their match 5-0 probably helped.

The Mexican fans made the Luzhniki sound like the Azteca or even Selhurst. I'm amazed they were they outsang the Germans, who were morose for most of the match. Besides, this result must stick in Tronald Dump's craw. Imagine, a bunch of "rapists and murderers" (his words) best the Cup holders. Then again, he doesn't know the difference between a corner kick and a throw in.

I'm fairly sure he'll still be as clueless about football as he was when he did the Rumbelows cup draw with Saint and Greavsie around 25 years ago.

The only European team to lose so far are the current champions.

There’s a certain trade out of both countries that is worth billions to the right people.

He did the Rumbelow's draw in 1993? Were they desperate or something?

He did, in 92.

They probably were, and he possibly paid a fee, but I've done him a disservice if you watch this.

He was ahead of the game and pro women.

I even shocked myself at how much I didn’t really care when that winner went it. I’ve had no interest in England for a good few years now and havnt had one ounce of excitement for this World Cup. I’ve had a think about it and reckon it’s because I despise the majority of that squad every week of the football season and I also believe that a good few of those players are only picked for who they play for.Would Henderson, Stones or Sterling get picked if they played for us? No chance because they are not good enough.Throughout the entire season you here pundits and commentators dig out those three players for having improve and do things better to take their game to the next level which clearly says that they are not good enough. Also if Wan Bissaka had done for Man City what hes done for us so far would he have been in one of those friendly squads leading up to the World Cup? Or at least the next friendly squad after the World Cup. I’m certain if he carries on like he is with us he still won’t be in the next friendly squad.
It’s probably a mixture of being extremely bitter that our players never get picked and that I’m getting older and more miserable.
I’m hoping I get more excited after the group stage.
