All very strange. There’s a clear and expected difference of opinion on social media. The police aren’t making things any better for themselves when people refuse to stop or comply with police procedures. The police at the time may not even know how many times they’ve been stopped anyway. If they have a issue they should take it up with the police force (well it’s a service now)

If I’m instructed to pull over I’m always concerned I might not pull over fast enough, not drive away. Just asking for a search, points, a delay. I was pulled over at night in lockdown seen speeding on empty roads. I stayed very polite and compliant. Thought I was going to get 3-6 points but they let me continue 100 yards home.

It’s in the police statement that’ll be after the people at the very top would’ve seen the dashcam footage to make sure in this high profile (she wants it to be) case. The car came round the corner on the wrong side of the road. That is on cctv from a first floor pub window.

In a statement released on Sunday, a Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “Officers witnessed a vehicle with blacked-out windows that was driving suspiciously, including driving on the wrong side of the road.

"They indicated for it to stop but it failed to do so and made off at speed. The officers caught up with the vehicle when it stopped. The driver initially refused to get out of the car.”

But Williams dismissed the police’s version of events, while Dos Santos said he had only driven on for 20 metres to find a safe parking space outside the couple’s Maida Vale home.

“That is false, we were never on the wrong side of the road,” she told radio show LBC on Monday morning. “We were driving down through single-width roads. We only found out about us driving on the wrong side of the road once [the police] tweeted it.

"They said there’s a lot of youth violence and stabbings in the area and that the car looked very suspicious. They see a black male driving a nice car, an all-black car, and they assume that he was involved in some sort of gang, drug, violence problem.’’

She forgets you won’t be able to see who’s in the car with blackened windows[b] and they drove round the blind corner on the wrong side of road. It’s all rubbish.

I love a good rant especially from the pulpit. I guess he didn't win black man of the year award.
