That’s a built up area with houses and parked cars and he was driving over the speed limit. The police don’t apply your cabby experience when policing, and then they’ve stopped when requested and driven off. They brought it upon themselves and got the camera ready.

Only thing I would say is it looks like the corner was cut to jump in front of oncoming traffic. If that is the case how much attention was being paid to the wrong side of the road as the corner is cut. On a right angled bend your view can be restricted as well If you haven’t reached the correct part of the junction to turn.

I’m not saying everyone doesn’t do it because we probably all have st some point but it doesn’t mean it is right and it warrants a tug if spotted.

Behind blacked out windows and white or Portuguese first names and surnames. Whole thing is ridiculous.

incident where they were asked to stop and drove away. How do we know at what point on their journey this took place? Before/after/ the day before/ a day since...?

It’s in the police statement that’ll be after the people at the very top would’ve seen the dashcam footage to make sure in this high profile (she wants it to be) case. The car came round the corner on the wrong side of the road. That is on cctv from a first floor pub window.

In a statement released on Sunday, a Scotland Yard spokesperson said: “Officers witnessed a vehicle with blacked-out windows that was driving suspiciously, including driving on the wrong side of the road.

"They indicated for it to stop but it failed to do so and made off at speed. The officers caught up with the vehicle when it stopped. The driver initially refused to get out of the car.”

But Williams dismissed the police’s version of events, while Dos Santos said he had only driven on for 20 metres to find a safe parking space outside the couple’s Maida Vale home.

“That is false, we were never on the wrong side of the road,” she told radio show LBC on Monday morning. “We were driving down through single-width roads. We only found out about us driving on the wrong side of the road once [the police] tweeted it.

"They said there’s a lot of youth violence and stabbings in the area and that the car looked very suspicious. They see a black male driving a nice car, an all-black car, and they assume that he was involved in some sort of gang, drug, violence problem.’’

She forgets you won’t be able to see who’s in the car with blackened windows and they drove round the blind corner on the wrong side of road. It’s all rubbish.
