I abhor the ignorance of people who simply have no respect for the sacrifice by so many during WW2 that give them the freedom and liberty they have today. Churchill was no saint but he was instrumental in galvanising the Allies and leading the British people at a time when were at a crossroads of being close to losing the war. Believe me when I say, make your move against figures such as Churchill at your peril.

As another poster has pointed out it went to a referendum so fair play to him for accepting the result, however he could also have condoned the vandalism

Mayor Khan starts his campaign to be re-elected. At this rate London will not have any statues, museums or public buildings. Why don't we just replace all statues with ones of Mayor Khan.

It's the schizophrenic nature of the protestors. They want no go areas for the police and Khan may give into them. However they will then start complaining that the police and the government don't care when black people are killed on the street.
