Nothing of him, really. Now he'll cost more because he qualified at the World Cup (though Japan didn't deserve it, really).

Would be worth nothing much if he didn't play for Marseille, a team which played the Europa League final this season. 9 million for this guy?? He's nothing more than Advincula from Peru and that guy is 15 times cheaper. Fit and hard to pass but that's it. Actually, I tghink Advincula would be better suited for the English football. But not an upgrade on Ward either.

But he does play for them and has played for a team that reached a Europa league final. Bit like saying if my auntie had a d*** she'd be my uncle.

Several teams reached the Europa League final, including Glasgow Rangers, Dnepr and Sporting Braga. Few or none of their players were Premier League material. It's not that big a feat reaching the Europa League final, really.

Maybe not in your view but don't tell that to Diego Simeone or Jose Mourinho

With Ward signing a new contract, all we’d be doing at this stage is halting AWB’s development by signing another RB. Doubt we’re still looking at one now.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Actually he has looked good all tournament until last 30 minutes. Both Mane and Hazard had started on his wing and moved towards the right, Mertens had a go on the left and was replaced. Then Chadli came on and gives him problems, he is unable to challenge Vertonghen for first goal and they are out

I think with Ward signed and Cabaye not staying this position is not a priority. Having said that, if his performances earlier in tournament as a whole reflect his ability he'd probably be the best right back we have ever had (not a particularly high bar)
