This is about setting up future fights to make money. It really isn't hard to grasp. You can believe that sport where people make millions is always honest if you want. Not a problem for me.

No doubt you were also impressed by the Tyson Fury fight as well. Another serious sporting contest with no thought to making money.

I agree to a degree but fighters have been known to carry other fighters and when the mob had a big influence on boxing, fights were often fixed.
I'm not suggesting the fixer was in on this occasion but I do think it's possible that Parker's reputation was being protected in a fight that everyone knew he couldn't win in order to set up other fights.

At the lower level, journey men are paid to carry a prospect and get a few rounds under his belt, they usually make deals with promoters agreeing to give the prospect an easy night in exchange the prospect won't go for the stoppage allowing the journeyman to fight the following week. At the highest level the cash cow will be protected, if Joshua and Parker was close, there's no way Parker would have got the decision.

Whyte is only fighting Parker because his been screwed by the WBC, they was expecting whyte to be made mandatory for wilders title anyway. Hearn just got lucky that he had an opponent in Parker, ex world champ with enough media exposure in this country from fighting Joshua to justify a ppv fight for whyte, it's worked out great for matchroom but I don't see how this could be manipulated months ago.

I watched the Fury comeback fight what a joke! Same old Frank Warren (bum of the week opponent).

I realise that Fury wasn't going to have a hard fight due to his lay off but this was ridiculous. His opponent was too small and too light it was like a small child trying to take a swing at an adult.

To make matters worse Fury wouldn't stop mucking about and playing to the crowd. At one point he stopped to watch a fight in the audience. His opponent was clearly there for a final pay day and didn't want to get hurt so shamefully retired after the 4th (Probably because Warren only paid him up to that round).

It was such a joke that the referee warned Fury 2/3 times to get on with it. Not funny if you had a bet on which round Fury would win and he was dragging it out.

After the fight Warren said he was not going to rush Fury back into the big fights. That's right Frank still singing the same old song as long as the fans are stupid enough to pay you will keep feeding them bum fighters.

David (horizontal) Price claimed that the public want to see him against Fury. No David we don't, you have a glass jaw and have been well beaten by some rubbish fighters.

I still think Joshua will beat Fury because I believe he has a suspect chin and if he mucks about AJ will floor him. I have never seen a really fit Fury and doubt he has the will power to get in shape.

It's now up to Fury he needs to up his game lose some more weight and find a decent opponent otherwise the public will tire very quickly of his antics.
